Todays NFL was as boring as any day I can ever remember. This sport is seriously losing my interest with the flags and commercials. Not to mention the majority of the players have the IQ of toddler.

For instance. Bengals just get the ball to the 2 yard line with 1:45. Cardinals who have 3 timeouts let the clock run to just over 1 minute. Does that extra possession mean nothing? Does anyone care in this league?

Same. And I could not have imagined this day coming. Mostly the commercials make it unwatchable for me. Find the least creative people on the earth along with jobless Militant Gays & FemiNazis and let them produce the TV Commercials. Brilliant.

+1

The only way I can really get into a game is if I have $ on it or if my Giants are playing.

I don't even watch NFL games any more...tired of the same old boring bullshit.

It's not about the game anymore...it's hey look at me broadcasters and the endless promotions.

I'm satisfied just catching the highlights..............

I still want to love it. I love the idea of sundays still. but what I'm watching is just so boring and sloppy. and the refs are almost a parody of what their image is at this point. calling penalties on every single play on things that don't affect the play at all

Its such a part of our upbringing, our lives, literally stitched into the fabric of our beings I suspect we'll never succeed in turning away from it totally. Already with Streaming of games I can avoid commercials almost entirely, exception being when I don't get to the mouse in time to Mute so have to suffer a few seconds of psychotic screaming...designed to sell tires or insurance of course because psychotic bloodcurdling screaming and/or portraying White Males as feminine idiots is the best strategy to sell things.

As for the games themselves, appears Money has changed it. We don't get consistent effort from players, as you pointed out "Cardinals who have 3 timeouts let the clock run to just over 1 minute. Does that extra possession mean nothing? Does anyone care in this league?"

Less So, man. Less So.

So, naturally, longtime fans even some of the hardest-core fans of NFL are starting to care a whole lot less as well. Just like the Millionaire Players some of whom it seems like having to interrupt their lavish lifestyles to play a football game is an unwelcome hassle. No way its the "passion" that it was before to most players...

Then you have Holding Back (understandably) due to the Concussion concerns. That part I can relate to of course....

Perfect Storm of Money, Marketing and Health Fears combining to transform the game we loved into this.

True. Redzone channel occupies a place in my mind, a few pedestals in my brain...reserved for Gods. Cuz they have totally NO commercials. Redzone Channel on that pedestal up there is the only thing up there in fact. Except for other pedestals with nothing on them.

I usually watch redzone, but I'll watch a game if I have action on it. The commercials don't really bother me as I only have it on to glance at the score. What bothers me about the NFL is that no one knows the rules, not the officials, or the announcers. It's the only sport I know of that's like that, can't stand that.

Political Correct Nonsense has destroyed the NFL.

Not the games...the NFL POLICY TOWARD POLITICALLY CORRECT this, and PC that, and who the fuck did we PC offend today, and who do we have to worry about not liking our colored ribbon on the day.

NFL ain't about football anymore...it's about liberal points of view and the NFL is losing.

Can't really say it's the only sport where the officials don't know the rules

Basically every block/charge call in college basketball is wrong

Compliment, right?

You're suggesting that I have accomplished the ability to see beyond The Veil, have achieved True Vision of...

True Truth.

Right?
