How do you measure black friday enthusiasm? The aggravated assaults is easy to measure. I don't understand the composite ranking.

By assaults your top five is:

Tennessee
Alaska
New Mexico
Nevada
Florida

Sure a couple of southern states rounding out the top ten, but Delaware is 9. I'm not seeing the southern trend.
