I consider myself a pretty good video poker player but just recently i tried the deuces wild game and ill tell you i cannot figure out how anyone can win on that game.How do you ever know what to keep,or go after to make a good hand,and the payoffs are so cheap unless you hit one of the two top hands,..im just speechless about how its played to win at or anything else people know.,....I remember when seeing Fishhead used to play it ,it always seemed like he did well on it but since i don't like wild card games i didn't really pay attention

There are two main versions, the 100.7 game mentioned above by Tom, or NSU(not so ugly) version returning 99.7
......professionals play much more of the latter version because it can be found in higher denominations, and although returning about a full percent less, is more rewarding per hour(game +EV with slot card added percentage, cash mailers, promos, comps, etc., etc., etc).

Playing single line 100.7 quarter DW is not something to aspire to.....again, much better off learning the 99.7 version in the longrun these days, as it can be found in high demominations and/or in multiline versions.
Here on Vegas, put quite a few hours of play in the treaches playing this version of DW at a variety of venues........

i see a lot of good replies posted which in one aspect,but like i asked how do you know what to keep when you hand is dealt.You just don't know what to keep cause your caught in between a lot of hands.,.....like you may have A-HEARTS,10-CLUBS,QUEEN-DIAMONDS,JOKER,9HEARTS,.........OR YOU GET 2 JOKERS AND 3 GARBAGE CARDS BUT 2 MAY BE SUITED,.....WHAT DO YOU DO IN THESE EXAMPLES.
