Top 10 in runs scored and have one of the best players in the game in Goldschmidt.
LaRussa calling the shots and probably more signings to come.
Not a bad place to be. Could be a lot worse.

And in baseball any team can win the WS (Cubs excluded) and any team can do a 180 from one year to the next

He doesn't have that choice and knowing the problems he's had with social anxiety Arizona might be fine with him.
Did anyone think KC would be in back to back World Series 3 or 4 years ago?

Thats a good spot for him to be an anchor of an up and coming team. They do have a legitimate shot to win it all, lots of young talent on that team, and good management all around.

Their minor team is here in Reno, been to a lot of Aces game the past two years. They have a lot of young talent and will be a contender soon.
