I don't watch them anymore for any movie I already know I am going to see. Only will watch a short teaser preview because lately it seems they have been giving away way too much of the story line. Maybe with comedy movies it doesn't matter but on other genres it can ruin the excitement of the movie.

when they put too much into a trailer, I find that the Movie isn't a good one.

they are suppose to give you just so much to make you want to go see the movie.

Sometimes it's like a fifteen second movie. You've just seen all the best clips of that movie.

Sometimes trailers can be deceiving

Man of steel had one of the best teaser trailers of all time but the movie sucked

For me it's the official full length trailers that give away way too much. I agree with the OP on that. Especially when they come out with trailer 2 and trailer 3. By the time you've seen them all you can piece together the whole damn plot of the movie.

Teaser trailers are awesome and I wished that was the only trailer released

But....Ive noticed on a small handful of movies these days that some are getting smarter and the main clips you see in the trailer is actually a little different in the movie...

They only change the wording, not the actual scene.

Seen this 3-4 times in the past year but cant remember which movies.

Go to the movies a LOT & reason i know & remember is cauz everyone sees the clips over & over that stand out cauz of something said, and it was different in the actual movie & surprised me...
