I know the US well, but I know so little about life outside of the country..

I'm worried about my ability to pick up another language, and I think that would really limit my options...

I used to consider Thailand, but after reading about 5 years of Stickman Bangkok's columns, I've reconsidered. Even he has recently bailed on the country.

Just one man's opinion....spent 7 great years there and now 8 months in the DR and 4 months in Thailand....Cambodia and Vietnam Nam are good options...
