UBER isnt a big deal at all here in Vegas. Most of our money comes in on the weekends... Which happens to be the days UBER surge prices the hell out of people out here lol.
So many regular riders tried UBER, and got burned. One lady who works at the casino takes a cab back and fourth everyday from her Chinatown apartment over to Ceasars Palace. Her rides with a cab on the weekend are around $7-$8, when she tried UBER her ride was just over $15.
UBER has burned so many locals on the weekends it turned so many of them off. And 99% of people on the strip arent waiting for an UBER when they see cabs sitting there. UBER has had no impact at all on the UBER market, and Id say over 1/2 the drivers quit already
