The Giants apparently had enough of Damontre Moore's antics.

The defensive end was waived Friday due to repeated violation of team rules and a slew of locker room issues.

We made the move today in the interest of both parties,” said Giants general manager Jerry Reese.

The last strike for the Giants was when Moore reportedly got into a fight with his defensive line teammates.

Team officials repeatedly spoke to Moore about maturity issues on and off the field during his time with the Giants, but to no avail. ESPN reports the 23-year-old joked around at practice in front of teammates, coaches and even owner John Mara.

The NFL fined him $20,000 for a late hit on Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford earlier this year, a hit Giants coach Tom Coughlin said at the time there was "no excuse" for. He deactivated Moore for the following week's game against the Cowboys.

Moore was a third-round draft pick out of Texas A&M in 2013. He was originally projected to be a first-round pick, but was dropped after issues about his maturity and behavior became a concern for teams.

The Giants, who play the Dolphins Monday night, have not announced who will replace Moore on the roster

Defensive end Damontre Moore is out of a job with the New York Giants that paid him $585,000 this season, because he lost his cool when he didn't get a pair of free headphones

Here's the story: Receiver Odell Beckham gave out blue Beats By Dre headphones to his teammates, Jordan Raanan of NJ.com said. Defensive lineman Cullen Jenkins took multiple pairs. Moore, a disappointing 2013 third-round pick who had already been frustrating the Giants, didn't get a pair. So he fought with Jenkins. And that was the final straw for the Giants, who cut Moore. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport also reported the free Beats reason as the reason for Moore's release.
