</aside>The Panthers are 10-3 against the spread (ATS) and the over is 8-4-1 in their 13 games this season. Carolina's three ATS losses this season were against the Saints (twice) and Colts.
The Giants have faced an undefeated team in Week 10 or later four times in the past 20 seasons entering this week and they are 4-0 ATS, testing all four undefeated teams and beating the Broncos in 1998.

[h=2]McCarron under center[/h]After the injury to Andy Dalton and loss to the Steelers, the Bengals went from -7 to -3.5 this week against the 49ers. Their championship odds also dropped from 8-1 to 25-1.
AJ McCarron will become the third Alabama quarterback to start a game in the NFL in the past 20 seasons. Greg McElroy was 0-1 SU/ATS and Brodie Croyle was 0-10 SU and 4-6 ATS. The last Alabama QB to win a start in the NFL was Jeff Rutledge in 1987.
After being listed as an underdog to the Bears in Week 13, the 49ers remain the only team left this season to be listed as an underdog in all of their games. Chicago was the only other team.
Since 1990, San Francisco has been an underdog in its first 12 games only once prior to this season. The 2005 49ers were underdogs in all 16 games that season.

[h=2]Struggling Falcons[/h]The Falcons have failed to cover their past nine games entering this week's road game against the Jaguars. Atlanta now has its longest streak failing to cover the spread since at least 1990. The Falcons opened the season with four straight ATS wins.
In the past 20 seasons, only one team has had a larger single-season ATS losing streak than the Falcons. That was the 49ers in 2002-2003 with 10 straight.

[h=2]Chip Kelly as home underdog[/h]If the Eagles close as the underdog at home this week, it will be their first time under Chip Kelly. It will be the third time in Kelly's coaching career with the Eagles and Oregon that he will be a home underdog. He was a home underdog on Oct. 31, 2009, vs. USC and Sept. 26, 2009, vs. California.
Cardinals coach Bruce Arians has an incredible record when listed as the favorite. Including his interim coaching job with the Colts, Arians is 26-4 SU and 19-11 ATS as a favorite.

[h=2]Monday Night Football[/h]The Saints have played 10 home games on Monday Night Football under coach Sean Payton. The over in those 10 games is 7-2-1, including 7-1 since 2008. In the 10 home games, the total is going over by an average of 7.6 points per game.
This season, favorites have not had much success on Monday Night Football, especially covering the point spread. Favorites are 7-8 SU and 3-11-1 ATS.
