What i really think happened was this...
Remember right before the final decision they announced a wrinkle in the judging in which every other contestant got to vote.
I think they failed to tally those votes.
I believe Ms Columbia has it won until that final question "why should you win Miss Universe?"where she more or less answered "Because i am the best".
That's not a quote but sums up her answer.
Thinking the other girls were turned off by her answer & that their votes afterwards swung the results...
