Learn from the Colts; go for perfection. Resting starters makes the next 3 weeks feel like pre-season. And then all of a sudden, they need to be at playoff intensity? I take my chances. Not to mention, their offense has been scoring more as the season has went on. Don't want that to rest for 3 weeks.

go for it, keep spirits high, don't piss the players off and don't take away their mojo

the Pats came within a miracle catch of going unbeaten

the Colts lost in the first round

^^^^ This!!!

Worst thing any coach could do is rest players......this isn't the 1990's, where Dallas would do this & still win 3 super bowls.......times have changed, & so has the parody........they still need to beat the Falcons because Arizona is on their heels at 12-2.......as for the last game, play the starters up thru the 3rd Q & then rest them.

Colts lost in the Super Bowl at least in 1 of their "could have gone undefeated" years

In, 2005 I beleive a shoe string tackle by Roethlisberger saved the game and then Vanderjact missed a kick he should have made. But it was a bad all around game. Pitt was the 6th seed that year. Colts took 3 weeks off at least and were completely off all game. I think Pitt ended up winning SB that year.
