That they fired him before the last game tells you Ownership was flat out pissed. Chip deserved it. Totally over his head as a Personnel guy. Horrid situation for a new guy to go to. No QB, Offensive guys tailored to Chip's system, D is a sieve. Old.

Square play(and I played it) is to grab the NYG now. Line should move. Giants should play an inspired game as a finale to Old Tom, Philly should be in total disarray.

I don't think he always handled things well but firing him seems stupid. He went 10-6 in 2 out of 3 seasons & after one bad year he gets fired. I bet he sticks with the NFL & gets another chance to shove it in the face of critics.

Only place I could see hiring him is Tenn, strictly because of Marriotta. Surprised Philly didn't hold on to him and try to trade him there and get something.

ruined is a strong word for a guy that inherited a 4 win mess of a team and went 10-6 back to back.. NO QB worth a crap on the roster when he arrived or while he was there

releasing Jackson?
trading McCoy who actually produced in your system?
signing Murray who didn't fit into your system and you ignored his strengths?

probably resisted making changes too, which led to his early dismissal

I'm not sure another pro team is going to be in a hurry to hire him, although Jerry Jones would probably love to hire him, but Chip would want to make the coaching decisions

Andy Reid was 4-12 his last year in philly and is the worst time manager and replay coach decision maker in football.

Chip didnt get it done but doubt anyone wants Reid back.

They were gonna let him finish but I think his comment yesterday where he said he's not the GM was last straw.

I Like chip because I think he's an innovator but he never takes responsibility when things go bad.

I don't think that these entitled black players that started crying and calling him a racist helped his cause after they were traded....that kind of thing can bring down a coach or a player... McCoy can go fuck himself as far as I'm concerned... nothing but a piece of shit..
