With the wife being pregnant she just wants to chill at home this year

It will be the first new years eve for me in 8 years where I didn't go out with a big group of people. Normally it's my favorite party night of the year

apparently I am going to be watching football, I am told.

some kinda "new tradition" i'm also informed.

i used to watch football on christmas day, a tradition, big one.

now theres not games on on christmas day though

Sometimes being an old geezer isn't so bad. We're having a couple of neighbors over for an early dinner and champagne. After they hit the road, I'll be switching back and forth between the Twilight Zone and the end of the football game.

I'm dating a girl with a 7 year old. Her sitter fell through so I'm going over there to argue with a child over whether we get to watch cartoons or football. I'll lose the argument, and end up watching the games in the basement and then whacking off to top the night off cause I'm sure I won't get none after that.
