Or does it change nothing? Brady still undeniably better?

If Peyton wins the SB will that change anything?

Let's put it this way

It would have really hurt Peytons legacy if brady beat him yet again and that was the end note of his career

he's already said he will be back next year basically......Maybe if he wins the SB he would retire...that ain't happening.

LMAO...Manning is DONE. And he's going out a loser. Carolina will KILL Denver. You'd have to be a homer to take Denver here. I wouldn't take 17 points. They will lose by more than that.

This does NOTHING to Brady's legacy. He will playing for the next 5+ years and can definitely win another superbowl. Manning is going out a loser. Game over.

Fwiw, Manning is 3-1 versus Brady in AFC Championship games.

America had pretty much forgiven Brady for deflategate and this was the 2nd chance he asked for,
he had the opportunity to put deflategate to rest and prove he could do it on an Ben playing field
fair and square... And he failed miserably... So to me this was a career defining moments for both legacy wise

They are both greats, and no matter what happens Brady is still the better IMO. I think it does effect Brady's legacy on whether he's the greatest of all time. The greatest all had that killer instinct, they never play down, or play to just win. The greatest played to embarrass you, to kill. Jordan had it, Montana had it. Lebron and Brady not so much.

Montana probably just forgot to "kill" all those years the 9ers failed to reach the superbowl. That must've been it. Maybe he got bored with embarrassing the opposition.
