and I hate fucking losing

Broncos D played good, still think what might have been

Pats give up 240 yards, 80 in the 2nd half, and 12 first downs and lose. Kinda hard to believe

they arguably lose because the most accurate extra point kicker in the history of the game misses an extra point

they arguably lose because Belichick doesn't kick a FG when they're in the red zone with 6 minutes left (I'm not knocking the decision FWIW)

they arguably lose because the QB who never throws a pick throws maybe the worst pick of his career. The first one was a noodle arm pass, something surreal. The second one was forced by the defense

They had their chances, they lost, the Broncos deserved to win and they move on

at the end of the day, the Broncos executed on a couple of big plays, the Pats didn't execute enough of them and made mistakes they don't typically make

that's the difference between winning and losing, that's the fine line

Bad play by Brady, he threw some terrible balls not because of pressure but rather the prospect of it: he got nervous.
Bad coaching decision, he definitely should have kicked on the second 4th down attempt (and probably the first) because it was obvious the Pats' D was dominating the Broncos' O.
Broncos were fortunate; if it was NE-Car in the Super Bowl, the Pats wouldn't be 4 pt. dogs.

Rooting for Peyton to pull it off vs Carolina so he can ride off into the sunset.

But let's be honest Denver is very fortunate to have gotten passed New England...

That O-Line though. :(

Great Illustration of what "Defense wins Championships" can translate into, in part: Mismatch 'tween D and an O-Line..

Greatness of Pats illustrated also by the outcome being as close as it was. I got up left went to the bathroom cuz dude is automatic on those xtra points....still can't believe it....

...we knew that was gonna be huge, the moment it happened.

Credit to New England for keeping it as close as it was...Gronkowski for coming up HUGE when he was most needed...dude made some fantastic catches, damn near carried the Pats on his back to Santa Clara & a Homecoming Super Bowl for Tom Brady...wasn't to be though...way way way too much Defensive pressure on Brady.

Denver and New England wouldn't have beaten a healthy Pitt team....I know injuries are part of the game but I wish I got to see a healthy Pitt team....same with New England....should have been Pitt vs New England.....but I think both teams would have been beaten by Carolina who has gotten no respect all year....and I was dumb enough to hop on the Arizona bandwagon....I think Carolina -4 will be a winner...

Gronk was unreal yesterday. If James White were 1/3 of him Pats win. As a WR White does not impress me. The ball seems to elude him, while to Gronk it is a magnet.
