The regulars here know the importance of having a top 12 class. Classes aren't quite finalized yet but things shouldn't change too much. There are probably other schools with higher averages than some of the teams below the line but I only tracked schools that had at least 1 top 12 class over the last 4 years. Here's how things look as of now:

Updated below... not much change. No surprise the top 4 favorites to win it all next year are included on this list (Alabama, FSU, Ohio State, USC). 6 of the top 10 favorites are also on the list.. with Oklahoma, Michigan, Louisville & Penn State being the outcasts.

Alabama is loaded with talent again going into the 2017 season.

Saying that, the Tide will NOT play for the national title. Ain't going to happen.

Too much crap going on in the off season for Saban to pull this season together.

Loyal Bama guy here but the Tide will struggle this season. 9-3 at best.
