Boston Red Sox president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski had a productive offseason, adding ace David Price, All-Star closer Craig Kimbrel, setup man Carson Smith and fourth outfielder Chris Young. But is it enough?

The Red Sox were one the AL favorites last year but they ended up finishing in last place in the AL East for a second straight year.*

Gimme the diamondbacks at 20-1. They'll be a better team than the sox.

Crazy Cub odds considering every made ever made in Vegas history on them to win it all has lost. Did they win a division last year?? Or even host a wild card game?

They certainly improved their rotation with Price, but the rest of the bunch after Buckholz leave a lot to be desired.
Buckholz is in a contract year and will probably be lights out for half the season until he tweaks something. Their closer is improved.
Their line-up is very good.

But in the end pitching wins.....they can win the East but can they win in the post season....not with what they have.<iframe id="google_osd_static_frame_8379710211884" name="google_osd_static_frame" style="display: none; width: 0px; height: 0px;"></iframe>

Man, Buckholz... try being a fan of this guy but he drives you batshit!! And why is he only good for half-seasons? When he is on he is great to watch but too often he disappoi nts. Yeah they should be improved but that is not saying much since they totally underperformed last year.
