A 17-year-old robber’s arm was severed in Brooklyn after he held up a 39-year-old man at gunpoint for a pair of pricey sneakers, police sources said.Through the app Wallapop, the pair had arranged to meet up at 1 p.m. on Friday in Canarsie.

But when the seller showed up, asking $490 for a pair of Air Jordan 8 Retro sneakers, the teen crook pulled out a gun and demanded the kicks for free inside the older man’s car, police sources said.

The 39-year-old stepped on the gas pedal, but the gunman jumped out of his car at the intersection of East 86th Street and Avenue M, sources said.

Instead of speeding off, the seller turned his car around and drove after the teenager, crashing into him in front of a fence.

The robber’s arm was ripped off when he was pinned against the fence.

“I saw a kid under a car,” said Alex Saint Fleur, a bus driver who lives across the street.

“The guy ran him over. He got out, the driver said, ‘He’s trying to rob me. He’s trying to rob me.’”
“I saw the gun on the floor,” Fleur added. “The arm was on the floor near the gun.

The teen got out from under the car, he said, and ran inside a city bus.

“Everyone is screaming, ‘Come back, come back, your arm. You’re bleeding too much,’” Fleur said.

The crook got out of the bus and started running down Avenue M, he said, before finally collapsing in the street.

The teen was taken to Brookdale Hospital, where he remains in serious but stable condition, law enforcement sources said.
The 39-year-old driver will likely be arrested, according to police sources.

On Friday afternoon, the bus was pulled over on 80th Street, blood spattered on its front entrance.

“I was walking up the sidewalk and I heard a boom behind me,” said a postal worker who declined to give her name. “I just kept it moving. I saw somebody run on the bus with a missing arm.”

Like J. COLE says:

"Nobody's Perfect"
(feat. Missy Elliott)

[Verse 1: J. Cole]
This is for all the fans that waited, the bitch niggas that hated
Old hoes we dated, look mama, we made it
Your son out in Barbados, cheese eggs and potatoes
Smokin' weed on the beach as my mind workin' like Plato
Analyzin' the world, fantasizin' about girls
I'm handin' diamonds and pearls and vandalizin' her curls
Sweating her weave out, moans as she breathes out
Fuck I'm doin' in parties with Hova and Steve Stoute
I step over piranha, death over dishonor
They killin niggas for J's, that's death over designer
Hey Cole heatin' up like that left-over lasagna
Remember when I used to be stressed over Dawana
Now a nigga only textin' distress over Rihannas
I'm talkin' tens and better, hood bitches in Timbs and sweaters
And we always argue about the same thing
Tell me why we gotta argue about the same thing, same thing?

Another case of poor pre frontal cortex development.

Blacks and their 30 year old shoes. They have an obsession with shoes and big shiny obnoxious jewelry.

$390 for shoes. LOL People are so damn dumb.

Thank God I did not grow up in New York. I imagine unless well off, that place has to blow.

I love it when a story has a happy ending (other than the robbery victim being charged with a crime)

We should have the Stand your ground law in NY, it might end this BS
Too many soft liberals in New York. Criminals have more rights than victims.....Keeps the (certain demographic) voting block re-electing the same self serving people to office.

1000000% Correct !

How about this... This is how bad the NY DEMS want to do ..........

City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito will propose a plan to wipe away old warrants for small time crimes in her State of the City speech Thursday.
Mark-Viverito plans to push for a system to clear the old arrest warrants — issued when a suspect fails to show up in court for a summons — for public drinking and urination, unreasonable noise, littering, and violating park rules.
The proposal may also expand to cover other crimes, aides said.
Mark-Viverito plans to argue that warrants have created a bottle-neck in the court system and come back to haunt offenders over long-forgotten violations.
“Our support for the NYPD and our efforts to improve the criminal justice system are not mutually exclusive — in fact, they go hand in hand. You can’t have one without the other,” she plans to say, according to prepared text of the speech.
It was not immediately clear how old a warrant would have to be before it would get expunged.
Mark-Viverito is already pushing legislation, recently introduced in the Council, to reduce criminal enforcement against the same crimes, substituting civil violations instead.
There are 1.5 million open criminal warrants dating back as far as 1980 and covering 1.1 million people. Some 38% of people given summonses fail to show up for court, leading to an arrest warrant.
In the speech, which Mark-Viverito will deliver in the south Bronx Thursday, she is also set to announce a new voting app the Council will create to access election information, check registration, and track their absentee ballots.
And she will call for “neighborhood commitment plans” for neighborhoods that are rezoned, which will track progress on promises the city makes to residents. In several rezoned neighborhoods, residents have griped promised parks and other features were never built.

if the kid threatened another life with a gun, i don't think he should have any rights. he forfeited his natural human rights the second he pulled out a gun. the guy did a service by running that fucker over.

The article says the victim will likely get arrested? What a shame.

I went on a 911 car crash off an exit ramp on I95 (in Jacksonville). The driver rolled his car coming off the exit. It was night time and we had limited visibility, we get there and the dude lost his arm right at the arm pit. He was unconscious, and bleeding like a stuffed pig. We start looking for the arm in the grass/weeds and one of the guys steps on it, "I've got it!" We flew him to the trauma center.....along w/ his arm. I never heard what happened to that dude.

Wow. Talk about a slap to the face of police officers. WTF?
