What has changed in the last 15 years??

Id say off top of my head

Instant replay everywhere

More nationaly televised games. Thursday and Sunday night NFL.

Fantasy stats rolling all the time as well.

In the future there may be some international teams and players (qbs and pitchers especially) and coaches will have even more protective gear.

If anything, the international expansion along with the deterioration of American AAU programs, blacks may diminish in the NBA to Europeans and other international athletes but you rather spew your misinformed hate

Hopefully regenerative therapy makes injuries far less common and less severe.

Biomedical tracking could prevent a lot of injuries as well. This is becoming big in the NBA.

Big time......regenative medicine will be huge by 2030. Oh the advancements we will see in sports & technology, etc.

I think we will have it in NJ & PA by 2020. In fact, I would bet on it if bookmaker had odds on it. Delaware will also jump in, as for other states, remains to be seen, but its a lot easier for states with casinos to receive licemses.

If computers, internet and the world of bits are the final frontier of innovation then we would be screwed as people. Globalization would be doomed without technological progress and a world of scarcity would likely trigger WW3 or something of that nature.

Probably some drop. I'm not sure if this would change the NFL much though.

The NFL is the 2000 best football players in the world (give or take), if it became the 3000 or 4000 best players, the difference would be very, very negligible.

More of a possible issue for college/HS ranks.

I imagine helmets may go undergo a drastic change. When you get rocked with a helmet, it doesn't feel like you had much protection

I think Hockey will continue to grow...

I'm kind of surprised a new sports has creeped in... soccer I don't see getting much bigger in the US... Nascar will always be limited by safety...
