Thanks. I have never seen a spreadsheet that good in my life. When more people see this thread they will love it.

If anyone ever finds a spread sheet that can do beating the closing line stats, by knowing exactly what a half point is worth percentage wise across different sports and spread sizes, that'd be something. I like this too though. Another thing is a spread sheet that figures out taxes too.

You just want the info for what a 1/2pt is worth in various sports?

That info is available. Wizard of Odds has most of that.

Guess my question would be..."is it racist?"

Even quarter point in soccer or baseball totals (which is the trickiest)? What I really want is a spread sheet that will predict my ROI by how much I beat the vig by.

No clue on those 2 lame sports as I don't follow them.

But for basketball, most of the pts have pretty even distribution of value. It's like 9cents per half point. So the ROI of beating a game by .5 or 1 is usually going to be the same.

Football varies obviously but there is a chart showing the point values and you can kinda go from there.

I always thought a half point on 3.5 spread would be worth a lot more than a half point on 11.5 spread in basketball. In football it obvious key numbers are worth more. Baseball lame? it's like the best sport to bet on.

Nah, if a team is -3.5 and you got it at 3 or 11.5 and you got it at 11, there isn't much difference. There are no key numbers in basketball.
