[h=3]Chicago Bulls at Cleveland Cavaliers[/h]Closing line: Cavaliers -12.5
The Cavaliers closed as 12.5-point favorites over the Bulls, who came in having lost four straight. It marked the second time this season that Chicago was a double-digit underdog, with the other occurrence also coming at Cleveland on Jan. 23 (Bulls won by 13 as a 10.5-point dog). The Cavs dominated this time around, and for much of the fourth quarter looked prime to cover the spread.
Cleveland led by more than 12.5 from the 11-minute mark in the fourth quarter to the final seconds. With 1:35 left, the Cavs led 106-86, as the 55 percent of bettors who backed LeBron James and company were in great shape. Chicago however, would close the game on a 9-0 run, capped off by Aaron Brooks' 3-pointer with five seconds left. While the 3-pointer by Brooks -- his second in the final 1:12 -- will be the lasting memory in this bad beat, those who bet Cleveland can shift some blame to Iman Shumpert. The Cavs' guard opened the door for Chicago's unlikely cover, with two turnovers and a missed shot in the final minute.
Final score: Cavaliers 106, Bulls 95 (Bulls cover)

[h=3]Golden State Warriors at Los Angeles Clippers[/h]Closing line: Warriors -4
The Warriors were coming off their worst loss in two seasons the night before at Portland, and the public consensus was that they would bounce back. Eighty percent of the action was on the defending champs, who were four-point road favorites against the Clippers.
The Warriors got off to a great start and led by 13 after the opening quarter. Golden State maintained a consistent lead throughout, and led 115-99 with less than two minutes left. The Warriors failing to cover wasn't even in the realm of possibilities ... until a couple of unlikely Clippers' caught fire, as C.J. Wilcox andPablo Prigioni each made a pair of 3-pointers in the final 1:39. The 13-0 run by Los Angeles cut the Golden State lead down to three, prompting Steve Kerr to insert his starters back in with five seconds left. The Clippers fouled Stephen Curry (90.8 FT pct this season), but they had a foul to give. All Golden State had to do was inbound it to Curry again, and Curry to make two FTs. But that turned out to be easier said than done, as Andre Iguodala threw it away, Wilcox missed a potential game-tying 3 at the buzzer and the Warriors failed to cover.
Final score: Warriors 115, Clippers 112 (Clippers cover)

[h=3]Purdue Boilermakers at Indiana Hoosiers[/h]Closing line: Indiana -4.5
After leading by seven at halftime, Indiana would take control of the game in the second half. Halfway through the second half, the Hoosiers -- favored by 4.5 -- led Purdue by 19. It was just a matter of time before the 62 percent of bettors who took Indiana could cash their tickets. But in one of college basketball's most intense rivalries, Purdue would not go down without a fight.
Trailing by 16 with just over six minutes left, the Boilermakers made their final four 3-pointers. Indiana on the other hand, couldn't buy a bucket and let Purdue cut its lead to two with 36 seconds left. A Yogi Ferrell layup with eight seconds to go sealed the win for the Hoosiers, but not the cover, as they won by just four.
Final score: Indiana 77, Purdue 73 (Purdue covers)

[h=3]Oregon State Beavers at Oregon Ducks[/h]Closing line: Oregon -12.5
<article class="ad-300" style="box-sizing: border-box; clear: both; overflow: hidden; position: relative; z-index: 1000026; margin: 0px 0px 0px 10px; float: right; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 16px;">
</article>The unlikely finishes in Los Angeles and Bloomington weren't the only bad beats for bettors on Saturday night. The 73 percent of folks who took Oregon to cover were also done in by the underdog making a late run.
The Ducks led their in-state rival by 23 at halftime and by 21 with less than three minutes left. Oregon State cut the deficit to 16 with less than a minute to go, but was still multiple possessions from covering. Those who bet Oregon needed either a stop or a made shot; they didn't get either. Oregon State made two 3-pointers in the final 45 seconds, including one by Stephen Thompson Jr. with two ticks left, and lost by just 10. The Beavers ended the game on a 12-1 run.
Final score: Oregon 91, Oregon State 81 (Oregon State covers)
