Sources: Kaepernick wants to play for Browns

Colin Kaepernick wants to play in Cleveland for new Browns coach Hue Jackson, multiple sources told ESPN.

The Browns have lost five players through free agency, and some players over the past couple of weeks have said privately that they view playing in Cleveland like going to college: up to four years and they're out.

But Kaepernick is embracing the idea of playing for the Browns, according to Schefter. The Browns and 49ers have had trade conversations.
To date, the Browns have expressed more interest than the Broncos, who have been slow-playing their interest in Kaepernick so far.

Jackson was the Oakland Raiders' head coach in 2011 when the 49ers drafted Kaepernick. Jackson has said that he and late Raiders owner Al Davis wanted to trade up in the second round to take Kaepernick that year.

"I think about it all the time, believe me," Jackson told Sports Illustrated in 2013. "No question in my mind we wanted it to happen, and no question I thought it could happen. We wanted the kid in the worst way."

Sure he wants to play for the Browns. No pressure on playing for a team that's has 4 wins a year. Smart move by him. If he gets them 6 wins, he will be a icon in Cleveland

Draft a couple WRs and just have Kaep throw those inaccurate passes close to the center of the field. Some of em might be caught, but if not, who cares? It's the Browns

Yup.

It's been a while since I thought a team had a genuine shot at matching Detroit's 0-16 season.

This might be it.

What little talent they had left via free agency. Literally no skill position players at all on offense. A crappy, depleted OL. Likely a rookie QB. Fifteen points or so should be all that's needed to beat this team on a weekly basis.

If they are half and half and considered "bad", they are "white" with prison tattoes in this case.

Vlad hopes he signs with the Browns, that will be fun to watch it detoriate. It will be like a Compton street fight eventually with the fat black head coach and the prison tattoo guy. By the 2nd year, they can qualify for Hard Knocks. Just need Rob Ryan as their defensive coordinator. Of course, by the 3rd year it will be their 12th different "start over"

The 0-16 Lions team could probably lay a TD to this upcoming season Browns team. Detroit was in many of those games that year but could not find a way to win.
