Matty GL. Fellow SC guy here. I'm sure you know, but HP's two leading scorers are out. Also, how motivated are our guys after faltering down the stretch and then being left out? I heard that Downey, Rich, and English were all invited to the first round of the tourney by Martin only to be told about an hour prior to the team/fan dinner and show that it wasn't happening. Frank then canceled allowing fans to watch with the team so as not to add any more humiliation of being left out. Just curious what you think the overall state of things are.

Idk what to expect, honestly, as he just suspended 5 less than an hour ago...

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -Just hours before Tuesday's opening round NIT game against High Point, South Carolina announced the suspension of five players.
Chris Silva, Marcus Stroman, Jamall Gregory, TeMarcus Blanton, and Eric Cobb have been suspended indefinitely, according to Gamecocks head coach Frank Martin.
“TeMarcus Blanton, Eric Cobb, Jamall Gregory, Chris Silva and Marcus Stroman have been suspended indefinitely from the team due to a conduct issue,” Martin said.
None of the five players have started games for South Carolina. However, Silva and Stroman have played a significant number of minutes off the bench for the Gamecocks.

I do think winning 24 games and not getting in is a travesty, though...first time I believe. As for the HP players being out, it's actually one reason I played it as I like that crazy angle, however, I would expect folks to fade that play for sure. Good luck and enjoy the game...I guess an NIT championship wouldn't be so bad, again...don't think it happens though, but hopefully they at least try...
