I can't stand watching any game Walton is calling. He is so biased and it shows it's sickening. Commentators are suppose to show no bias, hence why color guys when calling a game won't make predictions or anything. He on the other hand things ALL other teams, players, and conferences are inferiors to the "conference of champions", yet they win nothing...
Well I know I'm inthe minority here but I like listening to Walton because he makes me laugh. Sometimes I actually LMFAO when he gets on a roll on something other than basketball and his partner does not know how to handle it. A few weeks ago he and Paasch were doing a game and it was just ridiculous. The key is guys, don't take him so damn seriously. Just WATCH the game. Hell, half the time when I watch sports on tv I mute the sound and go to my music (when it gets close I go to tv sound). Just suck in the nuggets of information he tries to bestow on all of us, thus creating a better planet. Duuuuuuddddde!

The term comes from all sports, not just basketball. just stop, the conference is way overrated in everything that matters, and they get their damn asses whipped when it matters most
