A good way to test if your online book is honest. Check for a line that is moving. Go to submit a bet on the cold side. See if they alert you to the change before they accept it. Some books only alert you when it's in their favor. They'll take your bet number if it fucks you, but kick it out if it is the hot side. Dump that book and tell the agent why.

I would say fuk the books. They have screwed me a bunch of times many different ways. If you see an advantage you exploit it. Some books offer -130 or -140 on teasers when it really should be -110 or -120. You think they don't know they're fucking u? How about books that offer you 10 to 1 instead of 12 to 1 on 4tm parlays? isn't that robbing? They fuk u but when theres a chance to take advantage of them you should be Mr. nice guy? Fuk them! If I see weakness I attack.
I think there is a very wrong notion about books posting wrong lines. There is no such thing as free rolling, if the book is reputable they will void the bets even before the game is finished, winners and losers equally. My experience working in the industry dictates that most softwares grade all bets on a single result (meaning you put the score of the game and all wagers are graded accordingly, so no individual grading). For the PPH to freeroll you or other people, they would need to manually grade all wagers and that is just not the procedure. Players who play Past Post games or Bad Lines consistently are usually seen as scum by the books and if this is a common offense they will try to kick you out as soon as they can.
If I'm booking my own players & I'm irresponsible enough, or stupid enough, to leave a game up too long, or post a "wrong line,, then that's on me & i eat it.
But of course we're not talking dignity & honor when dealing with some offshore books & we are at their mercy.
Hopefully if & when sportsbetting is legalized nationally, we will get the rules mentioned above.
It's no different than if i make a friendly wager with one of you guys, and i give you +7, but the actual line has dropped to +4.

I'm not talking about post up places, and definitely not talking about people who have not been forthright in their dealings. I'm talking about credit shops. You have one thing in this endeavor - your rep. In most of these PPH shops you're dealing with someone you have a longterm relationship with. Maybe he was one of your phone bookies in the past. Either way, I want to win money from the book, not steal it.
In the examples you've posted, yeah they're robbing. But it's with your permission. I can get hoop teasers -120, 5.5 points, ties push. How did I get it? I asked.
