No one goes to jail or prison anymore unless it's for stupid offenses. It's a big money grab scam. A Presidential candidate has so much clout, they don't go to prison. A guy with a public intoxication charge or a guy with some weed, that is the "tough on crime" the government loves because it happens thousands of times a day.
