what about adding some kind of pride incentive for more people to join...
maybe for any handicapping contest that someone wins, the rx could add a little trophy icon or some tagline that shows that the person won the contest?
or maybe under posts or someting we could add: RX accomplishments or something....and then show something for anyone who finishes top 3 in a contest? doesnt matter to me, but I know some focus on green bars and whatnot, and having something that shows you won/cashed in a contest might be something that would create more interest? maybe not worth the hassle.....just a random thought....

Best incentive would be Winner gets to come out spend a week with you surfing in LA. All Expenses Paid, of course.
I do like the recognition proposal though. There should definitely be SBR Type Icons signifying contest winners.
Because if there were such things, these little Icons at the bottom of guys posts like "Signature" type deals
Users would see those over an over and over get them implanted in their brains which would lead to more participation in contests
which would then lead to JOH who we are so blessed to have run these contests's
Life not being complicated by Low Turnout for Contests.
