Chicago starts a four game stand in Oakland today knowing they must improve their
offense and score more runs. Last year, only Atlanta and Miami scored fewer. With
some retooling and addition of new faces...I look for this to happen this season.

Interesting Stat: Chicago hit a league high 51 home runs this spring after tying San
Francisco for 26th place in the majors with 136 last season.

I've been following the CWS since the days of Luke Appling when Bob Elson was in the broadcast booth in the old Comiskey Park.
It's been a tough road most of the time. Just maybe, this will be the year.

I've been saying this for 4 straight years now......we need to get rid of Danks. He's a LOSS every time he goes on the mound. I hate this dude.
