Aljo vs. Caraway (aka Mr. Tate) ... May 29th !!!

A few of you might know from my previous posts across the street that I am very good friends with Aljamain Sterling (UFC #4 ranked Bantamweight) ... Aljo got his wish and Bryan Caraway finally agreed to fight him after months and months of shit talk and hiding.



I cant wait for this one and without a doubt I will be in Vegas for this fight.

Undefeated Aljamain Sterling Faces Bryan Caraway at UFC Fight Night 88




Undefeated bantamweight contender Aljamain Sterling will take on eighth-ranked Bryan Caraway at UFC Fight Night 88 on May 29 in Las Vegas. UFC officials announced the match-up on Thursday.


Sterling (12-0) continues to climb the ranks of the 135-pound division. “The Funk Master” made his promotional debut in 2014 and has reeled off four consecutive wins inside the octagon, including finishes over his last three opponents. The 26-year-old has been lobbying for a fight against Caraway for months and he’ll finally get the opportunity in May.


Caraway (20-7) only competed one time in 2015, defeating Eddie Wineland by unanimous decision at UFC on FOX 16. The five-year UFC veteran has the opportunity to knock off a top-five ranked opponent when he faces Sterling and move closer to a title shot.


UFC Fight Night 88 takes place on May 29 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. The fight card is headlined by a fight between two unbeaten bantamweights, Thomas Almeida and Cody Garbrandt

Just got a text from Aljo ... Another prelim on Fight Pass.

The UFC announced Tuesday that the bantamweight grudge match between Aljamain Sterling and Bryan Caraway would be the feature bout of the Fight Pass portion of UFC Fight Night 88 on May 29 in Las Vegas.

The undefeated Sterling (12-0) will compete for the first time since signing his new UFC contract. He last fought on Dec. 10, a second-round submission victory over Johnny Eduardo

Caraway (20-7) is best known as the boyfriend of current UFC women's bantamweight champ Miesha Tate, but he's a solid fighter in his own right. His decision victory over Eddie Wineland at UFC on FOX 16 in Chicago was his third victory in his past four fights.

The bout was signed after quite a bit of back-and-forth words between the duo online.

This is the latest in a string of bouts involving name fighters added to Fight Pass preliminary broadcast since Eric Winter took last year as vice-president overseeing the UFC's streaming service. Other such matchups have included Diego Sanchez's decision win over Jim Miller at UFC 196 and Dustin Poirier's win over Joseph Duffy at UFC 195
