Naw that didn't work.

Plan B:
This fall Thursday Night Football will be streamed live @twitter so fans will see more of this. https://t.co/s6tbr9FjvY

lemme try this:

HTML:
<iframe style="position: absolute; visibility: hidden; display: block; width: 0px; height: 0px; padding: 0px; border: medium none;" class="twitter-tweet twitter-tweet-rendered" allowfullscreen="true" allowtransparency="true" scrolling="no" id="twitter-widget-0" frameborder="0"></iframe>
This fall Thursday Night Football will be streamed live @twitter so fans will see more of this. OH man it may have worked.

If so I may have finally figured this out.

Sometimes though a Tweet will show up, it appears as it should then later on it reverts to just being that sludge.

But maybe it actually worked.

If so its just a matter of removing a small line of code from the embed script.
