2016 MLB H2H Double Elimination Tournament
Introduction:
An elimination tournament lasting 8 weeks, where your baseball handicapping skills can win you some cash.
Prizes:
$100 Post Up - 14 Entries - $1400 Pot
1st Place: 70% - $980
2nd Place: 30% - $420
Setup:
* Runs Apr 12 - Jun 5
* RD1 H2H Matchups Will Be A Blind Draw Using A Random Matchup Generator
* 6 Day Rounds (Off Mondays)
* Exactly 10 Plays Per Round
* 5 Play Max Per Day (All in 1 Post)
* Runlines, Moneylines & Totals Only
* Posted Lines Nightly (Adding Any OTB The Following Morning)
Contest Rules:
* All plays are action regardless of any change(s) in starting pitchers.
* When wagering on total runs (over/under) the game must go 9 innings (8.5 if the home team is ahead) to have action. If a game is called or suspended in extra innings, the score will be determined after the last full inning unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the score is determined at the time the game is called.
* Rules for Run Line wagers are the same as those for totals.
* The result of a game is official after 5 innings of play unless the home team is leading after 4.5 innings. If a game is called or suspended, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the winner is determined by the score at the time the game is called.
* If the home team ties the game and it is then suspended, the play will be no action. No carry over to the next day.
* Deadline to post will be 5 minutes prior to the posted start time of the first game on your playlist. If any plays are posted past the deadline, they will be graded a push if play wins, a loss if a loss.
* If a bad line is posted by the player, the play will be graded a push if a win, a loss if a loss using the correct line.
* Obviously, the records are reset to 0-0 (+0) to begin the next round with new matchups.
* The 3rd and 5th rounds will each run for 2 weeks for the Winner's Bracket only to eliminate boredom.
* A Tiebreaker Question will ask for the Grand Salami result for each Sunday of the contest. Post your Grand Salami TBKR no later than 5 minutes before the start of the first game that day.
* As an option, you can make 2 posts on Sunday, one to post your TBKR and the second to post your picks only. Deadline for picks will remain 5 minutes prior to the start of the first game on your pick list.
* If any plays are rained out on Sunday, player will make up those plays on Monday.

The losers of the first round will drop down to the loser's bracket and the winner's will remain in the winner's bracket. A loss in the loser's bracket will eliminate that player from the tournament. The winner of the Winner's Bracket will play the Winner of the Loser's Bracket for the Championship. If the round ends with both players having a loss, they will have a two-day, 10 play rematch to determine the Overall Winner.
