Utah needs to win to keep playoff hopes alive (and Houston lose) Kobe is playing for himself tomorrow night. I will take the Jazz

When Houston wins then Utah is going to have nothing to play for. Favors is already hurt so I doubt he would play if he didn't play in their last 2 games when something was actually on the line. I think the other starters will play but it is tough to say how many minutes and the motivation probably isn't going to be there after finding out you aren't making the playoffs 15 minutes before tip.

I got over 41 wins for Utah on the season so hopefully they try to win, but on Kobe night the Lakers will probably be playing harder than they've played all year, crowd will be into it, the refs for the game might be Fox, Fisher and B shaw. Tough to see Utah showing up and matching intensity.

Gobert The Stifle Tower AKA French Rejection is not traveling to LA. Already seems like Utah might be packing it in.

Play for himself at age 39? I doubt it. No way he spoils his night by going 4-19.. he will be reasonable and lakers will try to do everything to win his last game for him.

95% chance Utah has nothing to play for.

Kobe will likely want to go down gunning. If they just win and he doesn't do much then what does he care? He is going to want that swan song moment where he somehow gets hot and carries the team to victory. This is a big reason the line is -5.5, because that decreases the Lakers chances to win mightily, since Kobe is obviously terrible now.

Still think LAL is a reasonable play, Utah just has nothing to play for and some of their best players are likely not going to play.

Wouldn't shock me to see Hayward play limited minutes or sit as well. Battled plantar fasciitis a couple weeks ago. No reason to push it with nothing to play for. Houston likely puts Sacramento away by half considering the Kings are without Collison, Rondo, Bellinelli, Cousins and Casspi.

Moved to -5 and ML moved 5 cents. Get it while ya can!

Probably goes to like -3 after Houston waxes Sacto. Depending on who plays for the Jazz.

Espn game late night. Also have to assume they will let kobe play late unlike all season. My guess is it is close down the stretch because they will make sure it is close down the stretch and they let us see kobe in the clutch one last time. Its only fitting.

Utah has nothing to play for.....When they see the Rockets up by 30 against the Kings they will probably lay down.

That head fake pump fake into a game winner is crazy how many teams he used that to hit a gw. Such a difficult shot

If you take a side..... Flip a coin.

Kobe will shoot and shoot until his finger tips bleed. He will be what he has been for a few years. A self-centered turd piece.

If he is red hot (VERY unlikely) LA has a chance. If he's not hot..... He shoots his team out of the game...... Like he often has.

He is pretty much a very wealthy rapist. Period.

Disagree that kobe will over shoot.

If they are down a ton he might start gunning it up. But I think they all play to win as a team tonight.
