Los Angeles Rams running back Tre Mason was arrested last month in Florida on charges of resisting arrest, possession of marijuana, reckless driving and failure to register a motor vehicle.

Set to appear in a Broward County court this week, Mason was a no-show.

According to TMZ Sports, this left the court with no other choice but to issue a warrant for the running back’s arrest.

The most interesting aspect of this situation is that police in Florida indicated that they had to use a taser in order to take Mason into custody when originally arrested last month.

Now a no-show for his court hearing, Mason is simply a wanted man. There’s no other way to put it.

Mason, a third-round pick of the then St. Louis Rams back in 2014, has compiled 1,208 total yards and six touchdowns in two seasons.

His importance to the Rams isn’t what it once was after the team selected Todd Gurley in the first round of last year’s draft.

With Gurley playing every part of a franchise running back, Los Angeles could easily move on from Mason without feeling too much of an impact on the field.
