Do the Warriors have to win the title this year to be considered the greatest NBA team ever?

It reminds me of the M's when they won 116. Didn't make the World Series. Greatest regular season team ever?

Even if they win the title I would consider the Bulls team better

The real debate... is who would win?? Bulls at their best, or GSW 2016...
And what years Rules do u use?

Bulls rules... the bulls CRUSH them 4-0
GSW rules... bulls get 2.

if they don't win the title, they can never be called the best team ever

of course. I don't know how they lose a series, not a game like the 2007 Pats, but a whole series and even be in the discussion

Using my two eyes, I'd agree with you. Statistically? I'd have to say Warriors.

well if we go stats then we have to take one of the old school Celtics teams right? 8 championships in a row.... stats only compare to the current competition. This era of NBA teams and 20 years ago is apples to oranges.

people actually consider Kobe the best ever. But he only has 1 MVP.... 2 single season scoring leader titles. His best ability (score) but only had two his entire career.

No title definitely drops them a few notches below the best teams of all time.

95-96 (72-10, 15-3 playoffs) Bulls and 96-97 Bulls better even if the Warriors win the title.

The 1983 Sixers only lost 1 playoff game (obviously never trailed in a series)

The 86 Celtics never trailed in any playoff series

The 96 Bulls never trailed in any playoff series

The 1967 Sixers never trailed in any playoff series

1971 Bucks with Kareem never trailed in any playoff series and only lost 2 playoff games.

This Warriors team is nowhere near those.

reminds me of 18-1

No championship they aren't even in the conversation.

That being said they probably beat the bulls 5 out of 7 exhibition games. (They lose 4 of 7 if it was playoff-type games)

Seeing them being benched in the 4th and smiling/laughing on the bench tells me they aren't as determined

He is considered the premier rapist in NBA history but I haven't run into anyone who thinks he is the best player ever. Not sure i have run into anyone who thinks he is in the top 5 ever.
