Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Rolling Stones reportedly booked for 'biggest concert in history'

Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney are thought to have been booked for what reports are calling "one of the biggest concerts in history".

Billboard is among multiple sources to report that Goldenvoice Entertainment, the promoters behind Coachella Festival, will hold the festival in Indio, California between October 7-9. It will take place on the same site as Coachella.

As well as the aforementioned artists, The Who, Neil Young and Pink Floyd's Roger Waters have also signed up for the three-day event, according to the reports. The headline acts are expected to be paid $7 million each for their sets.

"It's so special in so many ways," Young's longtime manager Elliot Roberts reportedly told The LA Times. "You won't get a chance to see a bill like this, perhaps ever again. It's a show I look forward to more than any show in a long time."

No more details of the event have been revealed but a full announcement is expected shortly.

Imagine playing rock and roll as a teenager and still doing it into your 70's? What a dream job.

Mick Jagger and the Stones have more energy than most bands 40 years younger. They are Rock and Roll. Greatest all time.

LoL you couldn't pay me to go...

Think it was '06, they came to Gillette stadium and I thought I was gonna be slick and bought some tickets to scalp.

Then like a week later they added a 2nd show, took a bath on those tickets.

I wouldn't pay a dime to see these nursing home guys.

It`s like watching George Foreman fight when he was 50.

Bunch of garbage.

not ever close to a valid comparison.

Everyone's different. Jagger is the greatest entertainer in music history. I have seen the band several times. Nothing in music compares to it.

The Rolling Stones are not that good live anymore & it has been that way for some time. The problem I personally had is when they arenafied their songs with backup singers, horns, etc... I prefer their raw performances when they were younger.

Anytime I see Mick Jagger, all I can think about is his infamous quote of "I would continue to write and sing, but I’d rather be dead than sing Satisfaction when I’m 45.

Sponsored by Geritol...

Ha! I was thinking the same thing Sooners.

I wonder if there will be any senior citizen discounts for tickets.
