Cleveland ML -155 All over this one with a Mets team that looks demoralized somewhat and looking anything BUT an NL Champ. They can't hit, the pitching has been ordinary- Harvey especially, and DeGrom is gone for a while. Looking at washed-up Curtis Granderson batting leadoff with Cespedes(a major whiffer who does not like to take pitches) batting cleanup, a team that has scored 31 runs in 10 games(last in the NL)….and you have to wonder how they will ever get back to the playoffs again.

Steven Matz got roughed up in his first start because his mechanics is is off, hanging curve balls, and being unable to keep his 95 mph fastball from being up or completely out of the zone. Matz also gets a little too emotional and tends to be one of those young pitchers who lets a bad AB get to him, making things worse. He will eventually be another very good starter for the Mets, but he seems out of sorts right now.

I also like that Corey Kluber is 0-2 for the Tribe, and yet pitched very well his last outing. I think he tames this Mets lineup, and goes a good 7-8 innings in the process. The Indians are missing Brantley from the lineup, but they are a good home-hitting team, as evidenced by their splits last year. Patient at the plate, while hopefully Matz unravels.

Will be on the RL too when that comes out.
