This will be the 2nd time Eagles have a Top-2 overall pick in the Common Draft era (since 1967).

In 1999 they drafted Donovan McNabb No. 2

Eagles trades this not-so-quiet offseason:

DeMarco to Titans
Sanchez to Broncos
Maxwell/Alonso to Miami
Picks to Cleveland for pick No. 2.

The fact that the Browns traded out of this spot suggests the #2 pick will one day be in the HOF

I will guess the Browns likely win this trade. Teams moving up to get the "second" guy rarely works. And the funny thing is the Eagles will brag about McNabb. He really wasn't that good. Sure, put him in the black qb Hall of Fame since he lasted more than 5 seasons but with qb's with a brain, not so much.

I thought only Chip Kelly could make terrible moves for the Eagles?

That's a ton but if these guys the Rams and Eagles take end up being legit then no one is going to care.

Samething with the Redskins going all-in for RG3, he ended up sucking but if he was good then it isn't going to end up being a bad deal. QB is just that important.

Eagles go overspend on RBs last year and this season it's QBs.

Best to hope Jets, Broncos or 9ers want to make a move for Bradford.

Never works out when the team trades up and gives up their #1 next year. Could easily be a top 5 pick....And now the Eagles are taking the leftovers from the Rams on top of that. Say the Eagles take Wentz. Generally that 1st year is rough record wise( except for Roethlisberger) and the team ends up 3-14 or 4-12 and then that next years pick is even more valuable.

Sounds like a bad deal for Philly.

It's win/win for Cleveland.

Philly gonna suck this year.

So they can give RG3 1 year to prove if he is any good if he is great. If not they probably have 2 top 5 picks next season in a deeper Qb class

Philly will not be a top 5 pick next yr, it will be high teens at worst.

Ehh, Philly is gonna be pretty bad in all likelihood. I guess anyone in that division could make their way to 9-7 but that is clearly a rebuilding team.

They will be solid on defense and well, they are not starting the rook QB
