Just like players, announcers get past their prime to except for Scully.

Keith Jackson, Pat Summerall, Jack Buck, the guy for the Lakers were all great in their prime but we're really hard to listen to at the end.

But Scully is still the best I've ever heard in my life.

I have watched a lot of Dodgers games in my life that I otherwise would not have watched if it was not for him.

He is honestly the only announcer in my life that I have watched a game just to hear him.

Nobody else has ever pulled that off. Other then Scully I would never make my decision on what game to watch based on the announcers.

He is the only one where I will watch the other teams broadcast when I'm watching the dodgers play the Braves.

He gives more insight on the braves then the braves own home announcers.

Im gonna miss listening to this guy.

He is still just as good as he was the day he started over 60 years ago.

I have a tough time listening to him talk to himself. I'm in the minority though.
