Going for a bachelor party. Don't want to spend too much cause we will never be in the rooms. Looking for something on the strip. Any tips on where to stay?

If on the strip get something centrally located. You probably wont spend much time in your room. Whats your budget per night?

I would look into something just off the strip like an Ellis island or hooters. Just getting off the strip a block might save you a few hundred

You can get same day deals on the strip cheap. I remember the Linq being 50 bucks last time I went. You can stay at most places for 50-70 same night booking. They would rather rent a room than let it go vacant. I didn't stay there, but can't imagine it being that bad. Especially if you just wanna sleep there.

$150 a night if possible....

Do an Expedia search. Punch the exact dates you are looking for. Give us the hotels on the Strip that are in your price range. Ive stayed at almost every Strip property numerous times and could give some opinions.

Thats the best way to go about this. Because prices can really vary depending on if you are staying weekday vs weekend. And if there are special events going on in Vegas at the time.

I've stayed at over a dozen places in Vegas but I always found the best value for the money is Planet Hollywood. I like the location and overall vibe and the rooms aren't super expensive but nice.

Don't you just love these $15-$32 resort fees (depending on the chain) they now hit you with.

No gonna book something the next month. Going out in September the first weekend of the NFL for a bachelor party.

Just did an Expedia search. Check in Friday, Sept 9. Check out Monday, Sept. 12.

Best deal right now is Mandalay Bay for the money. $167 per night. I'd lock that in. You can always cancel if a better deal comes along.

Hmm not a bad price. Do they have a sportsbook.

I'm meeting a fellow poster up there June 25th. Just saw Caesars for $140 and Bellagio for $180. Westgate is $50.

Is that per night?

I haven't been out there in a few years.... dang

Yep! they don't include it in the "quoted" price. They will say $125/night. Then add on Room tax + Resort fees, which will then get up to the real price of $175+ per night
