What do you guys think about making fielder 'shits' illegal?

The announcers in the Yankee/Bosox game are talking about this. Interesting idea. More hits and scoring. Like the zone defense being illegal in the NBA. Would make totals betting (and regular side betting backing dominant pitchers) a whole new ball of wax - it would take a bit for the books and the players alike to catch up. With the way professional sports are going, this is certainly in the realm of possibility.

I meant "shifts" in the thread title. Wow. That's embarrassing. Shits should definitely be illegal IMO.

lmao "shits" ....honestly in my opinion shift all you want...if youre making millions of dollars and cant hit the ball the other way you shouldnt be playing to be honest....its quite a joke that some of these players cant play small ball...

Agreed, probably the same goofballs that want to "outlaw" the hack a shaq or hack a Jordan in basketball.
