I was watching some of it today, sad. I didn't realize that many peopl lived there. The fire is the size of Chicago now.

Its heartbreaking . My family and friends all made it to Edmonton and St Albert . Some have flown back east. I have several close friends who are now homeless . My uncles house is still standing now. Estimated 1600+ structures are burnt. If any of you can spare even 5 dollars to donate to the Canadian red cross to help , please do so.

I used to live there , devastating is an understatement

2 fatalities from a accident which occurred when being evacuated, one of which was a daughter of a fire fighter there. Once the fire is out and its safe to return. I plan on flying there to help rebuild and do what I can, I know a lot of like minded people. Life will never be the same for anyone who has been effected by this disaster. Watching videos of entire subdivisions left as smouldering foundations really makes all the small stuff we fret about in our daily lives seem very petty.

Im not religious by any means , but for those that are, they need rain. And soon

Satellite Imagery, released this morning.....its not good, not good to look at but posting it here for those who would prefer to know what they can rather than not know and have to live with uncertainty. The article that linked to this (First Link Below) said specific addresses could be searched to see their condition (do this at 2nd Link Below).

Man, this is terrible. Let's not forget all the wildlife that are being affected and losing their homes as well. Not a good situation for anyone or thing to be in...
