LOL

Floyd Mayweather Jr. will reportedly return to the ring to take on UFC star Conor McGregor in a billion-dollar boxing match in Las Vegas, Nevada.

According to the Sun’s James Beal and Matt Heath-Smith, the two parties have been negotiating for a while and agreed to the fight earlier this month but still need to settle the purse and paperwork.

Per the report Friday, Mayweather is set to earn at least £100 million ($144.8 million), while McGregor will have to settle for £7 million ($10.1 million). The source added more details:

Floyd went mad after Conor said he would crush him and knock him out in 30 seconds, he’s obsessed with making Conor eat his words.

Floyd is calling the shots. It’s strictly boxing and Conor will have to lose roughly 25lbs.

It was agreed in principle on May 2, but Floyd wouldn’t reveal the identity of his opponent until last night when he told friends he’ll be fighting Conor.

IMO Kavanagh wouldn’t drop hints like this if deal wasn’t done ...

McGregor has a contract with the UFC though. I'm not sure how he would get out of it.

Obviously those two would be a terrible fight but there is no way it wouldn't make a shitload of $$$$$$$.

Yeah, Sherdog reported it.

I mean it made perfect sense for Floyd to steal a quick 150 million for doing nothing. I'd fight Conor too if I were him if it was able to be arranged.

After ya think about it, it made zero sense ... Even if Conor was allowed this fight (The UFC would NEVER let it happen) Conor would Never agree to those payout terms.

Hell, he walked away from that same amount in his rematch with Diaz.

As we wonder why boxing and MMA are catching a bad vibe. It's because of douches like this.

True boxers and martial artist are rolling in their graves.

Would have been pretty interesting to see McGregor drop 20 pounds.

It's already occurred numerous times before. What would be interesting is to see him do it again in the UFC and gets his shit kicked in by Frankie Edgar...

Correct. Who the hell walks away from $10M to get their ass kicked again. A pathetic douche, that's who...

I actually think if Floyd comes back he might fight Broner. Huge name, talks tons of trash, got the mentor/pupil Rocky 5 storyline.

They've been in a war of words for a few months now.

I think so too. I don't really care if Floyd comes back. He's already uber rich, but Conor needs to just get lost. He knows he can't handle another L on his record mentally anyways, and that's all that's gonna happen from here on out...

Interesting. Not really an MMA guy, didn't realize he fought that light.

I'd be shocked if he didn't fight again. He wants 50 and I'm sure he misses the spotlight.

Its also pretty sad / pathetic that McGregor's coach even feels the need to join in on this type of trash
