Mine was in 1993. Loved the cheap food and the action going on. Could lose yourself instantly there.

Went for a week on my 21st birthday

It was 2007, stayed at the mirage. My friends and I had the time of our lives. I remember being blown away by the amount of rich people and the amount of beautiful people. Didnt have to pay for the trip but lost $1000 gambling the first day. For a 21 year old that is a ton of money.

Saw Danny Gans show at the mirage who has passed away now. Went the bare lounge at the mirage and thought it was amazing lol.

I actually enjoy just sitting there having dinner and people watching over some beers. You see all kinds in Vegas. At the bar though haha.

I went there for Presidents Club in sales company I worked with. Ended up hooking up with another rep from North Carolina. Almost got kicked out of hotel for public urination. Ended up kissing one of those authentic Asians too. I was drunk. She didn't think my yellow fever joke was humorous.

Last February..won a free all expenses trip for a game show..ate and drank like a king all weekend. Got very little sleep, did well playing slots, roulette and video poker. Loved the whole experience but am kinda ruined now cuz I doubt I'll be winning anymore free game show trips in my lifetime.

You don't need a lot of cash to get to or stay in Vegas......Airlines are very competitive there.....I recently got a $220 fare RT from Boston on Southwest.....or you can apply for a airline sponsored credit card and often they will give you enough miles or points as a welcome bonus to cover a RT ticket. As far as aa room goes The Fremont or El Cortez (both down town) are cheap...$40 or less mid week and if you get a players card they will often lower the room price to a "players rate"...also get on their mailing lists for comped room offers......If you follow this path your only real expenses are gambling and blow jobs

In college, drove from Lubbock on Friday morning at 3 after drinking. Was back on monday evening with $2k less in my account and a speeding ticket in New Mexico that I paid cash directly to the officer. bleh

Have been back ~7 times since then...the last I gambled probably 10 hours over 7 days. dropping maybe $100 cumulatively. Was more interested in laying low poolside and eating good foods.

Was a LONG time ago!! 1st casino was the old "Castaways". Later met 2 ladies from Va. on vacation. Now that was 2 days of "fun", like a scene out of the movie "Havana". A few yrs later I retired & would go out in Sept., rent a place & stay for 3 or 4.. Never saw the need to pay for a pro in LV, sooo much free stuff, unbelievable.

My first trip to Vegas was in 1983 and as i got off the plane and got into Vegas itself i just knew this was the place for me.I stayed at the DUNES and it was cheap and it either sat where belaggio is or a little behind it,..it was classic.I then headed to the STARDUST which i've heard of many times and as VD said,i felt like i was in heaven, that was my place from then on.Next on my list was the BROTHEL, the only legal place to have sex in Nevada.Well that was the second time i thought i was in heaven,it was amazing as when your sitting in the lobby and bar area waiting for them to come out and line up for you to pick from, well needless to say i was speachless and the Madam asked would you like to have them got back in the dressing room and come out again for you and i said, yes that sounds like a plan,...lol,..wow,..all knockouts,so they came out and i picked and went about my business and it was fabulous and ellegant and comfortable.By the way this was CHERI'S CHICKEN RANCH,.....a Limo picks you up at your hotel and takes you back when you are done,...they also give you a menu to choose what you may want or talk it over with the girl.

After that it was all gambling and seeing whatever i had time for, which there was no where near the amount of casinos that there is today,..all in all i had a great time and i suggest everyone to go to Vegas at least once, even though its not near the fun it was back then, talk about free drinks and so-forth,it was there and given to you with no issues,...:103631605

I remember thinking I was going to get busted betting on sports. Never used anything besides a local and just seemed odd handing over money BEFORE I lost.

Went straight to the Starsust Sports Book.....thought I died and went to heaven....

How much time did you spend at Stardust in July of 1982? I know you drove a beer truck so you were probably not one of the "Live-Ins" at Stardust, as I referred to them in my mind anyways. Those gruff old men constantly smoking, some drinking, hardcore betting Horses and Baseball and whatever else they could bet on.

How many hours a day would you spend at Stardust during July of 1982?
