Im sure we all have a few of these friends well a buddy of mine has absolutely no clue about baseball couldnt tell you what divison teams are in he just bets on the era bets 500 a game boom or bust kind of guy, lol... So he will look at the eras add them up says its 7 and the total of the game is 9 he will bet the over because he thinks vegas has it high because they know better the guy has no clue about park factors or anything well yea he is up 20k in the past 2 weeks gotta love it

Maybe I'm reading it wrong.....

Vegas sets the total at 2 over the combined ERA so he wagers the over? What if Vegas has the total at 3 over the ERA?...or 5?...

If I understand this, you basically add up era and if its projected to win by 2 either way you bet opposite...kinda the theory oh that looks super easy I'm taking what should be the bad play based on era alone...so tonight would be under in Oakland Boston under in Pitt cincy over in Cubs Padres and under in Toronto Giants. All are difference in total and era by 2 and then opposite of what would win based on era
