Why don't more people post ROI?

Everyone has different units so why does it really matter how much a person is up or down $$$ wise? Also, if someone is playing big juice bets the amount won won't tell the whole story.

The only real way to tell how someone is doing is calculating return on investment or ROI. I'm surprised I haven't seen more of that on here.

Anywho, that's just my 2 cents.

the ones that don't show the units up or down are the ones losing big juice but will post the winning record

Not true in all cases

My take on it is if you care that much then you should keep track yourself. I know what my roi is....it's called my balance

Not sure U keep a running record Mob. And it's not mandatory one keep a record. I believe he is talking of those that keep a running record but no unit or $$ value being up or down

$$$ values can be misleading as well although I post dollar amounts cause I just cut and paste my actual plays. Units should be what people care about... or even better ROI.

For example someone could win $10,000 by risking $1,000,000 over the course of a season which is an ROI of only 1%. Another could win $10,000 but only risking $100,000. I'd say bettor 2 is much more likely to be successful over the long run with an ROI of 10%. A 1% ROI might just be luck whereas an ROI of 10% over an entire season is most likely skill.

Just my take but I doubt any long term successful bettor has an ROI of anything less than 5%. That is true skill. $$$'s won or units won doesn't really tell the whole story if your looking to follow someone.
