Barman Jr (aged 21 at the time) and I (age 46) were at the Ballpark in Arlington spring of 2006 and I decided I would impress him w my heater at the outdoor gimmick they have.....I cranked back and threw a hard strike low and inside (true!) and the radar clocked me at........

42 mph

Jr got loose with a 44mph and I was too ashamed to pay for another round

Low to mid 80s in HS, but that was almost 20 years ago. I could probably hit 75 now, but the ole
arm would get thrown outta whack. The ole lady always tempts me at the minor league ballpark here, but those little setups are dangerous IMO bc folks aren't warmed up and trying to impress their date, and leave the ballpark with a bum arm, no puss, and not even able to jerk off. Well, unless you can play switch hitter. No pun intended.

I still pitch in my Roy Hobbs league, but I throw the knuckler and other assorted junk. I probably can hit around 70, though.

I don't think there's any chance anymore. I got it into the mid 60's 15 or so years ago with no warm ups...id be surprised if I hit 50 right now.

Mid 80s twenty years ago. Shoulder impingement now and can barely throw little league BP without my arm falling off

I'm 42, threw in cage at the braves game the other day and threw 63. It felt like I was throwing 93. I was watching old men throwing around 50-60 and laughing thinking I was gonna do something. Turns out I was one of them.
