One of my last addresses before moving to Florida was just a couple miles south.

There are many accessible tracks on that end of Dallas (northwest)...Ask your hotel concierge and I doubt you will need to drive more than 15-20min

go to cowboys if you want to spend a little. my buddy's company just remodeled that entire bar/entry area. and its supposed to be alright.
for less than a quarter of the price, grapevine muni is a nice run.
texas star isn't too far, and it's nice...but it's pretty short. 6500 from the blues, but I remember only using my driver like 3 times
the tribute is a great links course....that is probably 40+ mins from your hotel.

make sure you hang out at the pavilion at the Byron. that's the only reason people go there

Played Bear Creek several years ago. It was OK, nothing fancy. Could be a goat ranch now for all I know.

Im actually at TPC at Craig's ranch right now. I'm working. The greens look awesome. From las colinas would be about a 45 minute drive. I'll comment more later because like I said I'm working.

You can only play Las Colinas CC with a member...$85 fee. I live pretty much across the street.

If you want a nice course that is close to hotel that you can let loose on look into Riverchase in Coppell. It's just 15 min drive down same street you will be on (MacArthur if staying at 4 seasons). It's about $80 a round if I remember correctly. I know a guy that works there that I give a sack to once a month, or so, that lets me play free. Nice course and not much money, but close and fun.
