On Friday afternoon, the Vegas-based South Point sportsbook released spreads for some of the biggest college football games this season. Even though the season is still more than three months away, South Point posted odds for several dozen games including key rivalries like Ohio State/Michigan, Oklahoma/Texas, Auburn/Alabama and many more.

Although South Point was the first Las Vegas book to post College Football lines, we should point out that the offshore sportsbook 5dimes posted lines for several games back in January.

If its wrong ... and you know what needs fixing, why not just help and post the "correct" block ?

I don't know what needs fixing, the only thing I know is that it's a repeat from the previous week. Just giving you a heads up so you can fix your information if you so choose.

NYK, none of those line moves are surprising (imo). I think FSU is going to be hard to beat this year if they find a reliable QB. ND is legit and I don't think Oklahoma is 9 points better than Ohio State. In fact, no one in the country is that much better than Urban Meyer.

I agree they are not surprising ... they are just the games with the biggest line movement so far.

OU historically falls flat following a great season. Their lines are way over inflated, especially vs UT in the Cotton Bowl. Strong has covered both years vs Stoops and almost won both outright. Give me Urban catching almost 10 in Norman as well.

I would have to agree with you about tOSU. I know the Bucs lose a lot of players, but we're talking about Urban Meyer being a touchdown dog. As for Texas, I think the Sooners are going to kill Bevo and ride off on their cheerleaders....

What's wrong with that Sooner? Just became the Longhorn football program is in the "tank" doesn't mean their cheerleaders are bad.
Bevo into steaks.....Probably not a good idea....Too "stringy & leathery" and probably not juicy any more. I wonder if they still use him (Bevo) for stud?

The early week game that keeps pulling me in is North Carolina playing Georgia in Atlanta.

I like the Tar Heels as Dogs in this role.

NC has good skilled talent on offense to go with the seven returning starters. Add a new
quarterback who finished 40 of 47 passing with 6 TDs and 0 INTS last year plus seven
veterans on defense.

Kirby Smart (and I love him for his loyalty to Alabama) goes down in his first game with
the Dawgs.

Alright JB........Glad to see you back in he "mix" and all is well. I always wait (anxiously) to hear what your [take] is on the Longhorns for the on-coming year.
