Ben Bishop was stretchered off the ice in the first period after going down in agony clutching his left leg.

Im not too familiar with the goalie...

I'm guessing there's a big dropoff from the starter and backup?

Ben Bishop is like the #2 USA goalie, one of the best in the league.

This really sucks for Tampa.

Based just upon that Physical Game 1 they showed up to Pittsburgh with, the Hunger & desire the team displayed showing up and putting it on Pens as they did in Pens own house I felt we were looking at the next Stanley Cup Champions.

Latest Media reports say: "The Lightning have lost their starting goaltender Ben Bishop to injury for what could be a significant amount of time."

Line has dropped 5 points from PIT +118 in just a short timeframe:

I have a bad feeling about this series. Watching last night I kept thinking about how the Pens were swept by Boston in the playoffs a few years ago.
This just seems like a bad matchup for them.
When you get 35 shots and 1 goal with that talent, it doesn't bode well...

Agree with all that and would add so many saying PIT would handle Tampa here, some even going as far as to say "easily" was a big red flag for me but now a big reason those 35 shots translated into just 1 goal may be out.

I really just wish that Tampa could complete one postseason without this happening. Sounds like I'm a Tampa Fan but I'm not just not a fan of teams coming so far then having something like this derail all their hard work.
