Wow.

Can't see this ever happening, but it would be unprecedented.

I can't see it happening because it won't. It would be unprecedented but won't happen.

That's a great layout. When it's put out point by point, it's very eye opening. Baylor has a disgusting culture. This began happening not even ten years after your basketball program tried covering up murder.

The only way to hit programs anymore is through the wallet. Don't cut scholarships, that harms other kids. But fine them enough money (Big 12 tv money, etc) that the recruiting budget is a fraction. No post-season play, take the home game gate. Whatever you have to do so that the punishment falls on Baylor. Make it so no star-recruit in his right mind would think about attending that wack-minded university.

I agree. The culture hasn't seemed to change much, the basketball coach told his players to cast him in a bad light to divert attention. 7 years later this begins in football. I was talking with a baylor alumni and he was saying it was bullshit and Briles shouldnt be fired, he isnt the one that is involved with investigations. He also said "I guess other schools got their way"... i was like :think2:

I don't get NCAA stance on anything. They will probably stay out of this since everyone balked at them intervening with Penn State. But who then? Is the legal system going to step in? I honestly dont know how Briles and Starr arent being investigated themselves.

And I agree, it seems like the NCAA punishment ends up hurting recruits rather than schools. Every year the NCAA shows why its more of a joke and new ways cheat rather than "oh shit, we better not do that"

It's hard to imagine that Briles has a daughter.

Baylor was very very lucky to be in a cultish small town atmosphere. They deserve every single hit they're about to take. They hide themselves behind a cloak of christianity yet behind that cloak is some of the most anti-christian beliefs/ acts that you can dream up. It's sickening.

They're about to lose 11-13 2016 LOI's and also are about to have to kick off 6 of their best players including KD Cannon, the stud WR. It hasn't leaked what he did but it will sooner than later. The Pepper Hamilton report has some disgusting acts in it. Just wait until it comes out.

So some Baylor alum take out a full page ad in the Austin-American Stateman thanking Kenneth Star for all his work and "exceptional care for students and their well-being." This is a wacko Waco culture problem. You'll have to drag them kicking and screaming into the light.

http://www.espn.com/espn/otl/story/...or-bears-pepper-hamilton-investigation-access

The McLennan County district attorney's office in Waco, Texas, has asked Baylor for full access to an investigation of the university's handling of allegations of sexual assault committed by students, including Bears football players, ESPN has learned.

Sources told ESPN that the DA's office has relayed an informal request to Baylor officials for access to the information from the Pepper Hamilton investigation. The DA's office is seeking to determine if the findings contain evidence of additional crimes by student-athletes, sources said.

Prosecutors also want to know if there is evidence of criminal conduct by Baylor coaches, faculty or staff in connection with sexual assaults by students
